Dairy Queen Has a Delicious Cake-Flavored Blizzard of the Month for February
It's the perfect treat to share with your FAVORITE person this Valentine's Day!
January is starting to wind down which means stores and restaurants have naturally begun the transition into Valentine’s Day. Whether you’re still trying to figure out the best gift to give your loved ones this holiday season, or you just plan on showing your affection with lots of food, it’s all about showing our appreciation for one another. And, you know, chocolates and sweet treats!
Just in case you’re still undecided on what desserts you’ll be baking up this year, Dairy Queen has you covered. For their February Blizzard of the Month, they’re bringing us an enticing flavor that we’re already in love with. What could it be?
It’s Time for the Red Hot Reveal
What kind of flavors come to mind first when pondering Valentine’s Day? Probably chocolate and strawberries…and chocolate-covered strawberries. But there’s one more flavor that’s just as important as either of those options–Red Velvet Cake! Listen, I can’t even begin to explain how excited I was for this announcement. I’m a sucker for all things Red Velvet!
No, it’s not a completely new flavor, but all that matters is that it’s officially made its comeback! If you haven’t had a chance to try this wondrous dessert in the past, I’ll explain what’s inside. You’ll find spongy red velvet cake pieces swirled together with cream cheese icing in a masterpiece of sweets, all wrapped up in a whirlpool of classic DQ vanilla soft serve. Yes, it’s real, and yes, you have to try it.
When Can I Grab One for Myself?
The Red Velvet Cake Blizzard treat is officially available now at participating locations, so check your local DQ for details. Remember, this Blizzard will only be around for a limited time, so don’t dawdle! The treat is already up in all its glory over at DQ’s website. Grab one for you and your SO this holiday…or even just for yourself! Who says you can’t celebrate self-love on Valentine’s Day? Catch me ordering a large Blizzard this February with NO regrets!
