Disney’s New ‘Firecracker Float’ Is LOADED With Pop Rocks and Coconut Rum

This Dole whip float has blown us away.

It’s been a weird year for a trip to Disney Worldbut a great year for Disney food. Mickey has shared recipes for French toast, acarrot cake sandwich and churros. The fall menu is totally drool-worthy. And if that wasn’t enough, Disney has now announced another treat that’ll knock your socks off!

It’s called the “Firecracker Float” and it’s safe to say we’re already obsessed.

What’s a Firecracker Float?

Disney’s been killin’ it with the incredible floats lately (see: the Peter Pan float), and this one’s no exception. It’s gorgeous, too, with tons of bright colors. Just look at it:

Like its Peter Pan counterpart, the Firecracker Float has a Dole whip baseyum! It also swirls together coconut rum, pop rocks and tropical juices, and honestly, it sounds like a summer party for our taste buds. It’s been spotted at Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian Village Resort.

How to Make a Firecracker Float at Home

Even if you’re not heading to Disney this fall, you can create a magical, parks-inspired treat from the comfort of your kitchen. Disney shared a recipe for Dole whip earlier this year, so you can whip up this Firecracker Float without having to book a stay at the resort. You’ll need the Dole whip, of course, plus tropical juices of your choice, blue curaao and white rum. To finish the drink, sprinkle Pop Rocks on top.
