It’s the end of September, and we all know what that means… the month celebrating “things that go bump in the night” is almost upon us. Halloween is crawling closer and closer like a spider on the wall, and even though it might look a little different than we’re used to this year, we’re still eager to put up our boo-tiful decorations, binge-watch our favorite creepy flicks and chow down on tasty Halloween treats.

Pillsbury fully supports our craving for scary-sweet desserts. They’ve released a new line of baking mixes, all appropriately dubbed funfetti slime, to ring in the month of spooky things.

Funfetti Slime Is Totally Festive And Fun

Seriously, the frosting’s just the cutest. But before we get to that, let’s cover the mixes. Funfetti Slime cake is a chocolate mix sprinkled with green, purple, orange and white candy pieces (if chocolate cake’s not your thing, a yellow cake mix is available in the traditional Halloween line). The packaging advertises one box makes 24 cupcakes.

The brownie mix includes green, purple and white candy pieces, and one box makes enough for a 9×13 pan.

No cake would be complete without the right topping, so of course there’s a new frosting, too! Funfetti Slime frosting is green, vanilla flavored and includes a pack of sprinkles; there’s traditional, purple and black ones, but there’s also circular pieces shaped like eyeballs. It’s creepy enough for the season without being scary, and we’re absolutely in love with it.

Prices vary slightly depending on where you shop, but in general, you can expect to pay around $2 for the mixes, and $2 for the frosting, too.

Where Can I Find Them?

If you’re ready to savor some slime when it’s dessert time, you can head to your local grocery store or wherever Pillsbury products are sold and pick these up now; they’ll be available throughout the month of October. If you’d rather shop online, Walmart and Target already have listings for Pillsbury’s Halloween offerings, including Funfetti Slime.
