Get the Scoop on Le Creuset’s New Sorbet Collection

Le Creuset's colors always impress—so it's no surprise we're loving the sweet Sorbet Collection!

Le Creuset

You usually need to check out Le Creuset on Instagram to see what’s new, but we’ve got an early scoop on the latest Le Creuset collection!

The Sorbet Collection is a ’50s-inspired set that brings us back to an ice cream shop—or even grandma’s kitchen table. The retro-styling is perfect timing, because we’re obsessed with vintage recipes right now (especially these soda-shop recipe copycats). The six pastel shades in the Sorbet Collection are sure to make you smile:

  • Cool Mint
  • Chiffon Pink
  • Cotton
  • Coastal Blue
  • Mimosa
  • Dune

The set is all stoneware and includes adorable bowls, mugs, spoons, mini cocottes (AKA baby casserole dishes) and ramekins. Everything should be available by May 2018. It’s definitely a splurge for us but may be worth it—Le Creuset makes high-quality kitchen pieces you’ll pass down to your daughter or granddaughter. You should choose colors that make you happy!

More Collections We Love

Earlier this year, Le Creuset released its Provence collection which boasts gorgeous shades of lavender. It makes you want to cook nothing but Dutch oven dinners so you can always have that dish on display! The pieces are enameled cast iron so they’re ready for the oven, stovetop and kitchen table. Love how easy that is. (Here’s how cast iron stacks up against other cookware.)

The bright colors may not be everyone’s style, so Le Creuset also brought back its neutral-toned Dune color in March. It’s perfect for people who love a classic look and fits in with just about any kitchen decor. But it’s currently only available for sale in their outlet stores. There’s honestly nothing better than a good deal on timeless cookware.

The Sorbet Collection dishes or any of our top Le Creuset pieces would make a fantastic Mother’s Day gift for any mom who loves to cook, especially if you use the dishes to serve up a delish Mother’s Day brunch.
