@justine_snacks starts off by putting all her ingredients into a personal blender. If you don’t have a small blender like this, a large blender should do the trick.

Ingredients

This recipe makes 24 Little Bites brownies.

  • 1 medium apple
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 6 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

Directions

Step 1: Dice the apple

Preheat your oven to 350°. Thinly dice the apple and microwave it till soft. Drain any extra liquid. Add it to the pitcher of a blender.

Step 2: Combine the ingredients

Add the almond butter, egg, maple syrup and cocoa powder to the blender. Then add the baking soda, vanilla and salt. Pour in the melted chocolate.

Blend it all up!

Step 3: Bake

Pour your batter into greased mini muffin tins and bake for 20 minutes.
