LG, known in the tech world for their high-quality and energy-efficient appliances, has unveiled a new line of large kitchen appliances that are sure to make your home look like it’s worthy of a magazine photo shoot. The line is the debut of LG’s new Matte Black Stainless Steel finish, which is a gorgeous cross between the durability of stainless steel and the ultra chic look of a nonglossy, dark finish.
This smooth, sleek look is a more luxurious take on LG’s highly popular black stainless steel finished appliances, and it features black handles, knobs and ice dispenser for solid black exterior. Available for a refrigerator, range, microwave and dishwasher, this matte finish incorporates well into many existing kitchen designs. Or it might be the perfect starting place for a full kitchen remodel.
You’ll especially love this finish if you have kids running around, since the matte black is equipped with PrintProof technology, which means the appliances are smudge- and fingerprint-resistant. So you can finally say goodbye to wiping off peanut butter and jelly hand prints from the front of your appliances every day.
But these appliances aren’t just pretty faces. The matte black appliances are a part of LG’s SmartThinQ line, which allows the appliances to be controlled through a smartphone or smart home electronic, like the Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. This means you can turn your oven on to preheat for dinner, start your dishwasher, and so much more, even when you’re not home.
The highly sophisticated look and design does come with a slightly higher price tag. With the line ranging from $499 to $3,359, these appliances are definitely not cheap. But because LG won the highest customer satisfaction in home appliances in 2016 and 2017, it’s a safe bet you’ll be satisfied with the product.
