McDonald’s Is Selling a NEW Doughnut Ball McFlurry Topped with Fudge Drizzle

The Golden Arches have created what might be the most delicious McFlurry yet—complete with four cinnamon doughnut balls.

McDonald’s might just surpass Dairy Queen for coming up with the most ingenious ice cream flavors. The McFlurry is a classic that McDonald’s has kept fresh by constantly introducing new versions. This summer, we were blessed with the Chips Ahoy McFlurry. Now, McDonald’s has outdone themselves with the newest doughnut ball Mcflurry! Made with creamy vanilla soft serve, this McFlurry is topped with hot fudge sauce and Oreo cookie crumbles—and no, we’re not talking about the Oreo fudge McFlurry. The kicker? There are four cinnamon doughnut balls on top of the ice cream. I think that’s the closest a flavor can get to perfection.

This McFlurry is Pretty Exclusive

I hate to burst your cinnamon doughnut ball bubble, but this McFlurry is currently only available in Australia. It’s also only available for two weeks, starting from November 4. According to @mcdonaldsau on Instagram, you have to order via UberEats to access this sweet treat. Whew, that’s a lot of restrictions for some cinnamon doughnut balls. We’ll have to dream of this McFlurry from afar, and hope that the US gets to enjoy it soon.

What Makes This Treat So Sweet

For me, it all comes down to the doughnut balls. McDonald’s Australia even sells them in packs of five, complete with hot fudge dipping sauce. It’s honestly not fair. The Oreo crumbles in this McFlurry add a satisfying crunch, and the hot fudge sauce on top really brings it all together.

Sadly, we’ll have to add this McFlurry to the list of global McDonald’s desserts we’re dying to try. If you want to recreate this Aussie concoction, you could also order an Oreo McFlurry with hot fudge sauce from McDonald’s. Then, you could make your own doughnut holes at home, and voila! You’ve got a DIY doughnut ball McFlurry. Kind of makes you wonder what else is possible in the McFlurry test kitchen…
