McDonald’s Just Brought Space Jam Toys Back to Happy Meals

Yep, LeBron James is part of the lineup now.

The ’90s are definitely making a comeback in the 2020s. From Dunkaroos to Viennetta ice cream, it seems like everyone’s favorite decade is coming back around for another go.

McDonald’s has jumped on the throwback bandwagon, too—and not for the first time! After bringing back a bunch of Happy Meal toys from the ’90s, they’re pulling a repeat.

Space Jam Toys Are Back!

If you loved your after-school cartoons and/or basketball, you most definitely saw Space Jam, the iconic live-action/animated movie that was released in 1996. It brought in millions at the box office and became a classic, thanks to the iconic duo of Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny, as well as the rest of the Looney Tunes gang.

McDonald’s released a line of toys that tied in with the movie, and with the sequel Space Jam: A New Legacy about to hit theaters, the toys are back! That’s right—you’ll be able to get your hands on the toy versions of Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Elmer Fudd and more, once again. LeBron James, who’s replacing Jordan in the sequel, is obviously going to get his own toys as well.

The lineup features 11 different characters across 12 toys (with LeBron getting two of his own), and each Happy Meal box will also have a new design centered around the upcoming film. I don’t know about you, but the ’90s kid in me can’t wait!

When Can I Get the Toys?

The toys should already be at your local McD’s, to tie in with the movie’s release on HBO Max. You’ll want to get down there sooner rather than later if you plan to collect all 12—we predict these are going to run out fast, and they’re only available for a limited time!

And if you’re a true Mickey D’s fan, you’ll definitely want to look up why some fancy McDonald’s don’t have golden arches.
