Mcdonald’s lovers, rejoice! Customers are once again able to take advantage of the golden arch’s extra-low prices, thanks to the return of the value menu. In the spirit of the fast food giant’s popular 1990s Dollar Menu, this new incarnation features $1, $2 and $3 options, providing customers with more choices and tasty savings. This is great news because there’s even science to support the fact that McDonald’s fries taste amazing.

According to McDonald’s, these options give customers the opportunity to create tasty custom food combos while still keeping the price tag low. “We built this new menu with variety and value firmly in mind,” says Chris Kempczinski, president, McDonald’s USA. “Our new value menu includes surprises like our completely new Classic Chicken sandwich, the inclusion of our Happy Meal and more. Whatever our guests crave—a delicious meal, a new taste, a mid-day snack or a family treat—they will find that $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu provides them with value and choice.”

Here are the options at each price point:

$1 Menu Items

  • Sausage Burrito
  • McChicken sandwich
  • Cheeseburger
  • Soft Drinks

$2 Menu Items

  • Sausage McGriddles
  • 2-piece Buttermilk Crispy Tenders
  • Bacon McDouble

$3 Menu Items

  • Sausage McMuffin with Egg
  • Classic Chicken Sandwich
  • Triple Cheeseburger

Plus, for the first time on a nationwide value menu…drum roll…the Happy Meal. For $3 you serve up a special treat to the kid (or kid at heart) in your life. With healthier options for apple slices, low-fat yogurt and milk, we’d consider it the biggest, best surprise of this new value priced menu.
