Girl Scout Cupcakes Are a Thing—Here’s Where to Find Them

Thin Mint mini cupcakes = a treat we never knew we needed.

The “most wonderful time” of the year happens twice a year. Sure, there’s the Christmas season—but there’s also Girl Scout cookie season. Is there anything that brings more joy than eating a whole box of Thin Mints? We don’t think so!

Unfortunately, we’re a long way out from those dessert-infused months, but apparently there’s a way to get our cookie fix. It looks like Girl Scout cupcakes—yes, cupcakes—are showing up at certain grocers, in two beloved cookie flavors.

Yes, There Are Thin Mint Cupcakes!

Really, that’s the flavor we all want. And these Thin-Mint-inspired delights are super cute, too, arriving in bite-sized format with a dollop of frosting and a smattering of sprinkles.

If you’re a fan of Lemonades, it appears the Girl Scout cupcakes are also offered in a “Lemon” flavor, too (which we’ve gotta believe was inspired by that particular cookie).

Instagrammer @dadbodsnacks broke the news:

It looks like each pack comes with 12 cupcakes, and costs $4.99.

Where Can I Buy Them?

The Instagrammer above found theirs at Angelo Caputo’s Fresh Markets, a Chicago-area Italian grocer. The Girl Scout cupcakes are also available at local retailers like Albertsons, Shaw’s, Safeway, Mariano’s and Pick n’ Save. Look for these bite-sized treats in the bakery area!

In the meantime, try making the official sugar cookie recipe the Scouts once used. And if you’re really desperate for some Thin Mints, you can pick up Aldi’s copycat Girl Scout cookies.

Psst... You Can Make Girl Scout Cookies at Home!
