M&M’s Is Dropping a New Flavor in 2022—and It Combines Two of Our Favorite Treats

It isn't cookies 'n' cream—but it's pretty close.

M&M’s has been on a roll lately, dropping delicious new treats all through the summer. From crunchy peanut butter sprinkled with crushed M&M’s, to M&M’s mix bags containing three flavors, they’ve been keeping us on our toes! And of course, we can’t forget the announcement about the sweet-and-savory new holiday M&M’s.

While 2022 might be a couple months away, that’s not keeping M&M’s from teasing us with even more flavors. This latest one is slated to release early next year, and it combines two of our absolute favorite treats.

Introducing… M&M’s Crunchy Cookie!

We’ve made TONS of M&M’s cookies with our favorite candy embedded all through the cookie dough, but this time, we’ve got crunchy cookies inside M&M’s! The new flavor features a crunchy cookie center wrapped in milk chocolate and encased in the classic, colorful M&M’s candy shell. Will baking cookies with these make the ultimate M&M’s cookie?!

Now, this isn’t the first time M&M’s has combined cookies with iconic candy—fans still fondly remember the sugar cookie M&M’s that dropped over the holidays last year. However, unlike that limited edition release, M&M’s Crunchy Cookie is set to permanently become a part of the brand’s lineup, so you can get your crunch on all year long.

When Can I Get ‘Em?

Unfortunately, it’ll still be a while before you can grab a bag. M&M’s Crunchy Cookie will release nationwide in March 2022, and will be available in Single (1.35 ounces), Share (2.83 ounces) and Sharing Stand Up Pouch (7.4 ounces) sizes.

If you’re looking for a sweet fix that’ll be out sooner, we hear that Apple Cider Donut Oreos will be on store shelves pretty soon. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to check out the Cheesecake Factory’s latest cheesecake.
