2 Tons of Pistachios Recalled After Salmonella Was Discovered

Uh-oh. The pistachio recall means a healthy snack is suddenly not-so-good for you. Here's how to check yours.

Love nothing more than snacking on nuts? You might want to check your cupboards. There’s a pistachio recall affecting 4,000 pounds of nuts after tests revealed the presence of Salmonella bacteria. The products are all manufactured by Bazzini’s, a company based in Allentown, PA, and they have stopped production while an investigation is carried out.

The affected nuts were distributed and sold in New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Massachusetts, Washington D.C. and Virginia. To see whether a product that you purchased is part of the recall, use our simple guide below.
