Swedish Fish Marshmallows Are Here—and We’ll Definitely Need a Bag This Summer

Did somebody say Swedish Fish s'mores?

Swedish Fish can be a polarizing candy—you’re either so obsessed you can knock back an entire bag in one sitting, or they’re your worst nightmare. Personally, I love them more than words can describe. They’ve been my go-to candy for movie theaters for as long as I can remember. They’re just the right amount of chewy, gooey and mysteriously fruity. Swedish Fish are even my perfect Halloween candy based on my zodiac sign. (I’m a Gemini, of course!)

Now, there’s a brand-new bright red treat for us to fall in love with: Swedish Fish Marshmallows.

What Do Swedish Fish Marshmallows Taste Like?

When I was a kid, I could never really put a finger on the exact flavor of Swedish Fish. Even now, I don’t think I have the perfect answer.

The Swedish Fish marshmallows take that delicious vaguely berry flavor and marry it with a puffy, sugary treat. Each marshmallow is covered in bright red sugar crystals and looks like inflated versions of the regular fish candy. I’m getting major Peeps vibes over here!

Imagine throwing these bad boys into the middle of a one-of-a-kind s’more. Will it be good? I don’t know, but I’m willing to take the chance.

Where Can I Get ‘Em?

The Swedish Fish marshmallows are currently available at Five & Dime Sweets for $5.99 per 7-ounce bag. @JunkPickers on Instagram reports seeing them at Walmart, too. The marshmallows are in stock right now, but we don’t know how long that will be true! Swedish Fish fans should stock up, in case this is a limited-edition treat. And if you can’t find the Swedish Fish marshmallows, Plan B is to order another round of Swedish Fish jelly beans.
