It’s no secret that Taco Bell is a fan favorite—their nacho fries blew our minds and they have a surprising amount of healthy options on their menu! Now the chain is back at it with more options to love at lower prices.
Taco Bell just announced that they will now offer $1 Triple Melt Burritos and $1 Triple Melt Nachos. These dollar menu items are hitting nationwide restaurants in April after months of testing in Ohio stores. These craveable bites “come complete with seasoned beef, shredded three-cheese blend and nacho cheese, wrapped up in a warm, flour tortilla or served atop a bed of tortilla chips,” according to a press release.
But that’s not all, these cheesy offerings are accompanied by a test of the Crispy Chicken Taco in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Beefy Crunch Burrito in Chattanooga, Tennessee, both priced reasonably at just $1. The Beefy Crunch Burrito is already a favorite, featuring beef, rice, nacho cheese and crunchy Flamin’ Hot Fritos corn chips. The crispy chicken taco is a little less on the wild side, a flour tortilla with pieces of crispy chicken.
“Back in 2017 we boldly shared our commitment to roll out 20 new $1 items in 2018 and are thrilled to share we’re halfway there thanks to our latest menu additions launching this week,” said Marisa Thalberg, Chief Brand Officer at Taco Bell Corp. “From innovative fan-favorites like the Beefy Crunch Burrito and dominating each day part by reimagining breakfast classics at the dollar price point, we continue to set the bar for what great food at a great value should be.”
