Fans Started a Petition to Save Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza
Taco Bell's Mexican Pizza is leaving the menu this November—unless a Change.org petition can stop it.
Taco Bell is our go-to stop for a quick, cheap lunch. It’s also our best bet for a healthy fast-food meal, and with all of the new menu items rolling out, there’s no way to not crave Taco Bell. But if you keep up on the Bell gossip like we do, you might know some items are permanently leaving the menu this November. That includes the Mexican Pizza.
Now, fans of this Taco Bell menu icon are petitioning to keep the Mexican Pizza around before it disappears for good.
We Can’t Say Goodbye to the Mexican Pizza!
The Mexican Pizza—and no, not the homemade version—is exactly what it sounds like: a tortilla covered in our all the traditional Taco Bell toppings. That includes shredded cheese, tomatoes, black olives, ground beef and whatever else you crave with your order. The Mexican Pizza is a menu staple for many Americans who grew up with Taco Bell, and has been on the menu for more than 30 years. That’s decades of goodness!
For some, the Mexican Pizza is such an integral part of growing up that a Change.org petition has sprung up to stop the separation. The petition argues the item is well-loved by many, and we simply couldn’t agree more.
How to Save This Taco Bell Menu Icon
Whether you prefer the new Pineapple Whip Freeze or a classic Mountain Dew Baja Blast with your order, there’s no doubt the Mexican Pizza is a staple. To join the fight to save the Mexican Pizza, go to Change.org and sign the petition. Roughly110,000 people have already signed, and there are only 40,000 signatures to go.
Let’s work together to keep the Mexican Pizza on the menu! (And while we’re at it, can we keep Nacho Fries on the menu, too?)
