When February rolls around, you'll want this easy-to-make Valentine's Funfetti cake mix.

If you’re anything like us, you love a good Funfetti cake. There’s just something magical about the riot of rainbow sprinkles in the classic or any of these other confetti treats.

And when Funfetti meets convenience, we’re completely sold. That’s why we’re especially excited about Pillsbury’s new Valentine’s Funfetti cake mix (along with treats like ice cream and pancake mix). The cake mix requires only three extra ingredients—water, oil and eggs—and can be made in three easy steps, including turning on the oven. Talk about an easy recipe!

What’s in the Mix?

The Valentine’s Funfetti cake mix comes in a pink box with a red and white confetti motif, just like the finished cake. You can see that the springy white cake is studded with candy bits, reminiscent of old-fashioned cherry chip. The box promises to make 24 cupcakes or a single 13×9-inch cake, so the end result is up to you.

We’re sure the Funfetti cake would be delicious as is, but if you want to make it picture-perfect you’ll need to also pick up a tub of the Valentine’s Funfetti frosting, complete with red and white confetti and heart-shaped sprinkles. OK, the frosting is technically a fourth ingredient, but we’ll let it slide!

Where Can I Buy Pillsbury Valentine’s Funfetti Cake Mix?

Beyond how easy this cake is to make, one of the biggest selling points of using cake mixes is the price. This cake mix is available at Target for just $1.49 and the companion frosting will set you back the same amount. Score!

Psst: Did you know how versatile cake mixes are? These great cake mix recipes use the store-bought kit as an ingredient, not an end point.
