This Famous Cadbury Creme Egg Is Back—If You Can Find One!
Cadbury has created an elaborate Easter egg hunt for its popular white chocolate Creme Eggs.
The white chocolate Cadbury Creme Eggs will be making a comeback in 2019, but there’s one tiny catch—you have to find ’em first! Cadbury has decided to challenge shoppers in the United Kingdom with what might be the greatest Easter egg hunt ever. (Why do the Brits have all the best candy?)
Where to Look for the White Chocolate Eggs
Cadbury is only sending 783 white chocolate eggs to stores in the UK like Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury’s. What makes the eggs so hard to find? Well, the eggs will be dressed exactly like their milk chocolate counterparts. You won’t know if you’ve found one until you unwrap the foil.
People who do find a white chocolate Cadbury Creme Egg win not only the creamy flavor but a chance to take home up to £1,000! The hunt is only for United Kingdom residents, but we’ll be keeping an eye on eBay for the eggs.
You Can Find Eggs Virtually, Too
Since Cadbury is keeping their white egg supply low, hunters might have a better chance finding up to 1,000 eggs on billboards, ads or hidden in social media posts. People who stumble upon a hidden virtual egg can unwrap it by posting a photo or screenshot here. Once unwrapped, you can determine whether you found a coveted white chocolate Creme Egg or the regular ol’ milk chocolate.
If you unwrap a white Creme Egg, not only will you receive a real one in the mail, but you’ll be entered to win the grand prize (£10,000)! If you unwrap a regular one instead, don’t let it get you down. Cadbury will still send you a voucher to redeem for a free milk chocolate Creme Egg.
Talk About a Happy Easter!
The egg hunt will launch on January 14th. Don’t worry, hunters will have plenty of time to collect Cadburys, since the competition doesn’t end until Easter. Good luck!
