5-Minute Guacamole

Shared by Sarah Berger of Minneapolis, Minnesota, this smooth avocado mix features fresh salsa for a zesty dip that's excellent on chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe avocado, peeled and cubed
  • 1 tablespoon salsa
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • In a food processor, combine all the ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Transfer to a small bowl; serve immediately.

2 tablespoons: 53 calories, 5g fat (1g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 114mg sodium, 2g carbohydrate (0 sugars, 2g fiber), 1g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 fat.

    I actually doubled the salsa, garlic and salt to 1 avocado and it was well received. Delish!

    this is my new "GO TO" guacomole recipe, it is well balanced, I do addd a little onion ,lemon juice or Lime juice for acididty
