What I love about these, besides the terrific taste, is you can assemble them ahead of time and keep them refrigerated until you're ready to cook. —Matthew Hass, Ellison Bay, Wisconsin

  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 brat buns or hot dog buns, split
  • 4 cooked Italian sausage links
  • 1/2 cup giardiniera, drained

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°. Place cheese in buns; top with sausages and giardiniera. Wrap individually in heavy-duty foil (about 12x10 in.). Place in a single layer on tray in air-fryer basket. Cook until heated through and cheese is melted, 8-10 minutes. Open foil carefully to allow steam to escape. If desired, serve with additional giardiniera.
Air Fryer Cook Times
In our testing, we find cook times vary dramatically between brands of air fryers. As a result, we give wider than normal ranges on suggested cook times. Begin checking at the first time listed and adjust as needed.
