Apple-Mustard Chicken Tenders

My husband says this dish is sweet and a little bit sassy, just like me. I like to use Granny Smith apples for a bit of tartness. Winesaps are great for this dish, too. —Linda Cifuentes, Mahomet, Illinois

The flavor was just what you would expect, zingy sweet. Quinoa was a great compliment. I think if I were to make it again, I would add one more apple. 3 stars.

Very tasty. My apples were small so added a few extra. Great fall recipe.

This is an easy and delicious recipe. I used yellow mustard instead of stone-ground mustard, because that what I had on hand. This is a very fast recipe to do on weeknights, and great for this time of year. My husband loved it and even had seconds.

We really liked this! For the next time I make this I will add a little minced onion just to try it out, since others have done that and were happy with the results. I also used a combo of yellow mustard and Dijon because that's what I had on hand. Love that it's quick and easy. I wonder if cutting back on the brown sugar a little will change the sauce too much?

Very good! I only had chicken breasts so I just cut them in half and added a little chopped onion. My husband especially loved it.

In a house with a few picky eaters this was considered a hit! I was told to keep it in my repertoire. I served it with mash, pumpkin and peas.

My wife and I both loved this, the flavors were great, and it was quick to make. We added only a tiny amount of brown sugar, and three apples instead of two, honeycrisp instead of granny smith - still great. Make sure to turn the pan down a bit after finishing the chicken, I had it up a bit too high still and burnt a bit of the mustard. Went really well with plain rice.

Easy, delicious recipe. Loved how quick it was to put together. We had it with a salad but were thinking of options for sides to have with it. This is a recipe we will have again.
