Heidi Wilcox of Lapeer, Michigan needs just three items to toss together this sweet side dish. It's crunchy from crisp apples and peanuts yet sweet and fluffy from whipped topping.


  • 4 medium apples, diced
  • 3 cups salted dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed


  1. In a large bowl, combine the apples, peanuts and whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
