I found this recipe several years ago from a Taste of Home magazine. I made for a work goodbye lunch and everyone loved it. Then I couldn’t find the recipe again. Now that I found this I will be making again very soon. Thanks for the greatest recipe every. Doreen
This is one of the best tasting cakes I've ever made...BUT...when I inverted the angel food cake pan to let it cool, the removable part of the pan was sinking fast and in 5 min the cake had started collapsing. I turned it right side up and was able to save most of the cake. The taste is incredible..but I would highly recommend baking in in 2 loaf pans as noted on the cake mix package.

Yummy! Served with whipped cream, but when that was gone tried it with vanilla ice cream and hot caramel sauce. Wonderful, if not quite as healthy.

Turned out pretty good. Didn't raise as high as I thought it should. Second time I made it, I used "store brand" cake mix and it did not rise at all.
My husband and I ate this cake up all by ourselves.....it was absolutely delicious!
