I got this recipe from a television cooking show some years ago. I like to mix the burgers together in the morning and refrigerate until dinnertime. - Patricia Rubsam, Hillsboro, Oregon

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 7 drops hot pepper sauce
  • Pinch pepper
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 hamburger buns, split

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Crumble beef over the mixture and mix well. Shape into four patties.
  2. Broil or grill until no longer pink. Serve on buns.
Freeze leftover minced fresh parsley in a resealable plastic bag. Use it directly from the freezer in any recipe calling for fresh or dried parsley.
