Apple Banana Muffins Tips

Which kinds of apples can you use to make Apple Banana Muffins?

There are so many kinds of apples out there that it can be hard to know which to choose. For baking, whether it's apple pie or muffins, we recommend Cortland, Braeburns, McIntosh or Jonagold apples. These will give you the right texture and flavor.

How can you make mini muffins from this recipe?

You absolutely can make mini muffins with this recipe! Line your mini muffin pan with liners and bake. Check on the muffins after about 15 minutes. They should be fully cooked by then.
You can make jumbo muffins as well. Just increase the baking time by 5-10 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the center of the muffins to be sure they are done (the toothpick should come out clean or with just a few crumbs).

How do you store Apple Banana Muffins?

Keep Apple Banana Muffins stored in an airtight container on your counter. They're best eaten within 2-3 days.
