Beef Taco Pie
I combine taco fixings with biscuit mix to create this zippy taco pie recipe. You can make it as mild or as hot as you'd like. Pair it with a tossed salad. —Shelly Winkleblack, Interlaken, New York

Very easy recipe to prepare. I used the Biscuit Baking Mix Recipe on TasteofHome and I doubled the recipe and baked in a 9 x 13 cake pan. It was not as big of a hit with my family as I had anticipated. As is, I thought the meat mixture could have used more liquid, perhaps more salsa. Or, because we like a bit of sweet with the taco spice, I would be tempted to add a can of baked beans.
Great recipe. Made it several times. Last time used corn bread...Came out even better!
Delicious. Had some tomatoes I needed to use so scattered some on top with the cheese while baking. This is a definite 5-star winner. We loved it and cleaned our plates. Volunteer Field Editor
We really enjoy this dish! To me, it’s like an enchilada in casserole form.
I make this exactly as written and it's great. We top it with sour cream, salsa and shredded lettuce. Delicious and very economical!
Used left-over cooked chicken and roast beef. Added chopped canned green chilies, more salsa and crushed corn chips. Decided to sprinkle some of the taco seasoning in with eggs and milk. Really good food, will make this again.
Wanted something new, easy to make and very enjoyable!

I used this as a base. I mixed enchilada sauce with the hamburger, added a can of beans, and a cup of cooked noodles. This recipe is very versatile so can design it any way you want. It's also super easy. Thank you!
