Burger Joint Onion Rings
These onion rings cook to a crisp, golden brown. This is one of those foods you never tire of and a great side dish to so many meals. —Betsy King, Duluth, Minnesota

Hi Taste of Home , I really like the recipe of these crisp onion rings. That's why i give this recipe 5 stars. I will explain my reasons behind this further in this comment. - The first reason why i give this recipe a 5 star rating is because of the simplistic and well organized lay out of the ingredients and directions. This results in a very organized and neat overview that's comfortable to read. - The second reason is that you give the amounts of saturated fats and unsaturated fats in the ingredients. This is really usefull for people that want to eat good whilst maintaining a healthy weight. - This recipe is easy to adjust for people that want to personalize their food to their likings. I find this recipe very useful for people that want to try to make onion rings themselves because the lay-out of the text and the information that's is very neat , the ingredients are not hard to find and the directions are very clear. This recipe is 5 stars worth in my opinion and it really helped me.
I cannot believe I am the first to review this recipe. The onion rings are fantastic -- best I have made in my 50 years cooking. I also use the same recipe for chicken strips / chicken fingers. After trying this batter on chicken fingers, a friend said, "That's some mighty fine dang chicken." My chicken finger recipe is now called, "Mighty Fine Dang Chicken."One more note, it is difficult to achieve good results trying to deep fry indoors. In general, the oil temp does not recover quickly enough, and food is greasy. If you have room, invest in a gas or electric fryer for outside use.
