  • 1 tablespoon minced ripe olives
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

Directions

  1. Stir ripe olives and rosemary into softened butter.
American Regional Flavor Variations:
Dairy State Butter: Stir 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese and 2 Tbsp. finely grated cheddar cheese into 1/2 cup softened butter.
East Coast Butter: Stir 2 tsp. Old Bay seasoning and 1-1/2 to 2 tsp. grated lemon zest into 1/2 cup softened butter.
Heartland Butter: Stir 2 tablespoons crumbled Maytag blue cheese into 1/2 cup softened butter.
