Cheddar and Bacon Burgers

Have your bacon cheese burger from the inside out. Since everything is mixed into the patties, you'll get all the flavor in every bite. My family thinks they are just so yummy. —Teresa Euken, Red Oak, Iowa

Very juicy and flavorful burger. I love cheddar cheese on a burger. The picture is what made me try this recipe. I even used sesame seed buns. It looked and tasted great.

Great flavorful recipe. My family likes it with swiss or cheddar. It has become a summertime favorite.

the only thing I changed was I only added a fourth of the onion mixture - used real onions instead and made some with swiss cheese as my family prefers that. very tasty and on my "favorite: list

So simple to make, yet beyond amazing taste! My family couldn't get over how juicy and flavorful they were! I did make a couple minor changes. I reserved about 2 Tbsp of the bacon drippings and added it to the mixture. I also replaced the cheddar with a swiss and gruyere blend and almost doubled the amount of cheese. In my opinion more cheese makes everything better ;) I will be making these again!
