Chocolate Banana Smoothie

I developed my own chocolate banana smoothie after tasting a similar drink at a local restaurant. My children love the chocolaty taste—and now they drink more milk than before. —C. Plugoway, Vavenby, British Columbia


  • 3 cups milk, divided
  • 2 large bananas, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup


  1. In a blender container, combine 1-1/2 cups milk, bananas, vanilla and chocolate syrup. Blend until smooth. Add remaining milk and blend again. Serve immediately.
