Test Kitchen Tips
  • Top a brownie (or blondie!) with chocolate or mint chip ice cream; drizzle with fudge sauce; garnish with whipped cream, chopped nuts, and a cherry or chocolate kiss.
  • Dark brown sugar contains more molasses than light or golden brown sugar. The types are generally interchangeable in recipes. But if you prefer a bolder flavor, choose dark brown sugar.

These get rave reviews from my adult children. Last batch I tried M and M's instead of chocolate chips and everyone agreed they were the best cookies ever. Super simple recipe.

Not a big Blondie fan but these guys are excellent! Made them for the first time a few weeks ago and now making them again two more times for my grand-kids they are that good! Highly recommend this recipe!!!! Used the new Nestle's chocolate and salted caramel chips and sent theses bars over the edge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely delicious, good with both dark or golden brown sugar, also good with butterscotch chips as well as chocolate chips. Super easy recipe.

Super moist and delicious. Next time I would make it in an 8x8 dish because it was really thin when made in a 13x8.

Was a great recipe to make with my little one on a summer afternoon. Easy to follow and tasty. A bit on the thin side when we used the 13x9 baking dish, but that means more to enjoy versus using a 8x8 dish.

Superb! Chewy and sweet, as a good blondie should be! Will be making again.

I was SO skeptical about the 9X13 pan size but I followed the recipe and wa-la(!) they turned out great! They are a little bit on the thin-side but since they are so sweet I prefer them this way. Watch the baking time because mine did not get brown which is what I was looking for but I used the toothpick to determine done-ness. Thanks!

Quick and easy to make with nice chewy texture - yum! Used milk chocolate chips instead of dark chocolate. Will definitely make again!

Tasted great but cooked them for over and hour and a half and they still came out raw
