Chocolate Peanut Treats

When I was in high school, I took these sweet and crunchy squares to bake sales— and they were the first to sell out. I still make them for family and friends who love the classic combination of chocolate and peanut butter. —Christy Asher, Colorado Springs, Colorado

These were really easy to put together, but I agree with previous reviewer and next time would double the peanut butter and half the sugar. A little too sweet for my tastes, but easy recipe. Thanks for sharing.

So good. I used creamy peanut butter and used ½ semi sweet and ½ milk chocolate chips. One batch I added sea salt on the chocolate topping before it hardened, will always do that. One batch I tried carmel drizzle but didn't care for those. Overall down right delightful!

We didn't care for these at all. Not enough peanut butter taste, and the dough was rather crumbly and hard to work with. I think that if we try to make them again, we will double the peanut butter and graham cracker crumbs and cut the sugar in half. On the plus side, they were really easy to make and the grandchildren loved helping make them

I absolutely love these!!! Therefore, I don't make them too often because I have very little discipline on when to stop eating them.

Double this recipe! It will be loved by all peanut butter fans. This is best way to get PB cup flavor in an easy to prepare large quantity. I always double but use slightly less sugar. As a volunteer feild editor with Taste of Home I love using recipes that recreate classic flavors.

Better than peanut butter cups, and easy to make. My husband really liked these.
