In prepping for Thanksgiving I made the butter a few days ahead of schedule. It was so easy to to prepare. I tried a tablespoon on fresh bread before having to put it away until TG. It is really good. I do however think it is too much orange rind. The orange over powered the other flavors. I will make it again, but I will use only 1 teaspoon of the rind. Since I used salted butter, I omitted the salt.
Absolutely beautiful! I can see this being a year round butter in my kitchen.
My Nephew-in-Law makes homemade sourdough bread every year for the holidays ... when I saw this recipe I just had to try it! I followed the recipe exactly ..... and it was amazing!! The perfect compliment to Brandon's beautiful homemade bread! The cranberries add that special holiday touch. I will be making this again very soon for our Christmas meal as well as every holiday meal from now on .....
Delicious! I used 1/8 cup combo of regular and hot honey. I had a little left after packaging in decorative containers so I used it in my butternut/rutabaga mash. Wow!!!

Does anyone know if 24 servings is like a pat of butter? Or does this recipe make like 2 small jars as [email protected] Thanks
Haven't done this recipe yet....looks yummy and easy! Thanks.
I made this in 2016. It was a hit! Everyone wanted the recipe.I bought small jars from the local walmart. On the Isle with the canning supplies.
This sounds amazing. I need to know if the recipe calls for salted or non salted butter!
Flavored butters make any muffin or bread special. This is one has a great flavor. But I agree with another review to make ahead and let the flavors meld together.
