Creamy Rice Pudding
I was fortunate to grow up around fabulous cooks. My mother and grandmother taught me to experiment with recipes, and we tried a lot of variations on this one. No matter how we chose to embellish it, it was always tasty. When I make this, it brings fond memories to mind. —Laura German, North Brookfield, Massachusetts

OMG! This is good! Had leftover rice from Chinese take out, so made this. Reminds me of my grandmother's rice pudding! LOVE IT!
Good use of leftover rice. I also added 1/2 tsp cinnamon, Dash of nutmeg and 1/4 cup raisins. I did have to add a little more milk as it was cooking to keep it creamy. Probably should have plumped up the raisins first but it worked out fine.
This had an old-fashioned goodness. I doubled the amount of rice and added raisins and cinnamon during the last 10 minutes of cooking. A new favorite way to cook rice pudding. Thanks for a great recipe.
I used many recipes this is the best and creamiest. just be sure not to over cook it. it was not as time consuming as the other recipe where I baked in oven for hour. this is great and easy. top it off with cinnamon, yummy
This is the best rice pudding and if you add dried cranberries or raisins delilish
I made this tonite, since I had 3 c. of cooked rice, I tripled the recipe, added raisins, and now there is enough for 6 servings! very good, and it cooked while I prepared the rest of dinner!!eek
This was excellent! Mine thickened up nicely a lot earlier than 20 min. I also added the vanilla in with everything by mistake, and it came out fine. Easy and delicious recipe!
