Cucumber Tomato and Green Onion Salad
My mother always made this salad, so I tried it on my future husband when we were courting. I discovered later that he didn't like vinegar in his foods, but he learned to enjoy this salad and called it piccalilli.

Solid salad. I forgot it needed to be prepped ahead of time so leftovers were a bit better.
I'm making a similar salad right now... minus the sugar and in place of the vinegar I use ranch dressing. It's a great salad.
At first I thought using so much water would be a bad idea, but I decided to go ahead and just follow the recipe. I LOVED IT!!! The flavor is so tasty (assuming you like vinegar) and I found that I even liked slurping up the juice along with the crunchy parts. I will definitely make this again and again. Thank you so much!
I love this salad. It's perfect for summertime and is a great way to eat up those fresh tomatoes out of the garden.
Just what the doctor ordered! My dear mom used to make something similar to this when I was a child and I've tried repeatedly to replicate it with no luck. Then my brother shared this recipe with me and it's perfect. Enough said.
I Like the ingredients but instead of vinegar I add a small amount of lo-cal.Italian dressing,it is not so tart with a light dressing, actually any light dressing would do,good recipe.

I was searching for a cucumber tomato salad on line and this one came up. I thought I'd give it a try. I didn't have green onions so,I used a sweet onion instead. Very delicious!! I would make again!
