Was an excellent choice for a meal! The favor is very good. I did omitted the potatoes and only used 1 can of soup when I saw how juicy it was when preparing. Turned out excellent! Plenty juicy. This is a keeper!

I have celiac disease, so I was interested in this list of gluten-free casseroles. But I must mention that the cream of chicken and mushroom soup listed IS NOT gluten free unless you specifically go find one that is (Campbell’s, for example, is not). If you’re not super sensitive, you might be okay with a regular brand, but people like me really have to watch this!

Dear cpko, Quick grits are white hominy.. similar to corn meal and is usually sold in your grocers cereal isle.. you could possibly sub the grits for corn meal if you can not find them..mixing the corn meal mix by package instruction before adding to the top.
