This was a big hit with everyone, and so easy to make.
I don't like seeing Michelle. Obama's face in my recipes were search
Dying to try it. Also if I had a tattoo, your mother-in-law advice would be what my tattoo would say. Best advice I ever heard!!!!
This was so easy to make and got rave reviews from my guests!
Fantastic quick and easy dessert exactly as written - but play around with flavors. My daughter used Nilla wafers, french vanilla pudding and crushed Butterfinger bars since her boys aren't too keen for chocolate. Yes, when it says repeat layers, it means cookie/pudding/whipped cream.
Really nice cake. You have really done a nice job. As you have shared the best things for me. Even this recipes can be made in busy time also. http://cake-delivery.in/noida
This looks amazing. I always like to try new things....so am going to make this for Memorial Day desert. Saw a comment saying she thought the cookie layers should be repeated as well as the pudding and whipped cream....well I looked up the Famous choco wafer cookies....there are 40 cookies in each pkg so that covers 4 layers @ 20 cookies per layer. I plan on using the real thing...heavy whipping cream....no comparison to "cool whip"
This is one of those recipes that looks so much more complicated than it actually is. When I served it the whole table went silent as my friends focused on gobbling it down. Sometimes I vary the ingredients - graham wafers instead of chocolate, or a different flavour of pudding. It all turns out great
Chocolate wafer cookies are either in the cookie aisle OR where ice cream supplies are sold; i.e. Chocolate syrup, Carmel syrup,. They are called Famous chocolate wafers. They have a transparent cover and the box is narrow and long.As to whipping cream, chill the bowl and beaters then the whipping cream will not take very long at all. Also use heavy whipping cream, not coffee cream. Cold makes the difference when whipping cream. If you read the directions the whipped cream layer goes on top of the pudding. If the whipped cream is not over whipped, i.e. Whipped just until the foam just holds in the beaters it will spread easier.
Shigupta, I think you need to repeat the cookie layer as well as the pudding and cream layers. If you do that, you wouldn't be putting pudding on top of cream. I didn't rate this because I haven't made it.
