Easy Key Lime Pie Trifle
I came up with this easy Key lime pie trifle because I adore Key lime pie in all its forms. It's a refreshing treat on a hot summer day, and since it can be made ahead, it's ideal for entertaining, too. The pie is easier to cut when still a little frozen, but be sure to let the pieces finish thawing before starting the recipe. —Barbara Moorhead, Gaffney, South Carolina

Any trifle will look like the dog's breakfast once it's spooned onto a plate. Instead make individual trifles in small mason jars, martini glasses, brandy snifters, etc. It's a bit more work but makes a lovely presentation that doesn't fall on its face when served...
Wow!! So easy and so good. I used a frozen key lime pie from Aldi's and allowed it to thaw only slightly before cubing it as it was easier to dice up slightly frozen. A wonderful dessert on a very hot and humid day. The whole family loved it. So very easy to make, too.
