Easy Texas BBQ Brisket
Mom came to visit and told me my brisket was even better than the version we used to eat back in Texas. Use the leftovers for sandwiches and tacos. —Audra Rorick, Blanca, Colorado

I made this in my smoker and it turned out fabulous. Will be making regularly.
Fantastic flavor and super tender. I only made one brisket so I cut the rub ingredients in half. My brisket was kinda of thin so I started it at 325 for 2 hours, then 2 more hours at 300.
If this was a true Texas recipe, that brisket would be smoked and not put in the oven. When you cook it like that, its considered a roast.
Amazing recipe! Lots of flavor!
