Ginger and lime form a wonderful flavor combination, so I thought I'd try adding them to my raspberry margarita. This cocktail is perfect for spring or summer parties. —James Schend, Dairy Freed

  • 1 lime wedge
  • Coarse sugar, optional
  • 1-1/2 ounces blanco tequila
  • 1 ounce ginger liqueur
  • 1 ounce raspberry liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened raspberries
  • Optional: Sliced crystallized ginger and fresh raspberries


  1. Moisten rim of 1 cocktail glass with lime wedge. If desired, sprinkle sugar on a plate; dip rim in sugar.
    In a blender, add tequila, ginger liqueur, raspberry liqueur, lime juice and raspberries. Puree until smooth; pour into prepared glass. Garnish with lime wedge and, if desired, crystalized ginger and raspberries.
