I make this every year and it's always a hit. Great for work or church potlucks, family dinners etc. So simple but delicious. Teryn69 your review was not helpful, because it was not a review... See what I did there?

In the same thought process, crush oreos into individual bowls, top with peppermint ice cream, next cool whip, hot fudge and some crushed candy canes. Voila. A recipe? This is not a recipe. It's prepared items thrown together. It's not even almost "homemade".

Really easy, make-ahead idea, but the Oreo crust is so sweet it's a turn-off.

I made for a dinner party around Christmas. We all enjoyed (adults and kids), and folks especially liked the peppermint ice ream/chocolate combo. I added some roughly chopped oreos to the ice cream as well.

A terrific holiday dessert everyone young to old will love. I've been making this for years, and it's always a hit! Love the flavors of peppermint and chocolate together.

It was good, but the cool whip needed a little texture in it for me. Next time I will use plan chocolate cookie wafers instead of the oreo type cookie. I would probably add some finely crushed peppermint candies to the cool whip. We all liked it and I will make it again.
