In a small bowl, combine the butter, basil, parsley and garlic powder. Beat on medium-low speed until mixture is combined. Garnish with sage and thyme.

Awesome! I made as written. I used the butter to top off finished steaks and to grill thick sliced mushrooms.

I made this butter a couple days ago but used fresh minced garlic. It was an instant hit!.

I've been making this for a long time. Most of the time, unless in a pinch, I use fresh minced/chopped garlic. I also add a few 'turns' of fresh ground pepper - just because!! I've added fresh chopped chives and/or dill weed also. I try to keep it on hand for topping a bowl of hot pasta with a sprinkle of parmesan or toast or any meat right out of the pan or oven, for the finishing touch!! It also freezes quite well in a tightly sealed small container.
