Preheat broiler. In a small bowl, mix the first 5 ingredients. Place salmon fillets on a broiler pan, skin side down. Broil 4-6 in. from heat until fish just begins to flake easily with a fork, 15-20 minutes. Brush frequently with onion mixture during the last 5 minutes of cooking.

We both like salmon and this was great salmon recipe.

Love it! But sorry, after making "as written" - I just had to change it. Too much oil. Changed to olive oil and used only a 1/4 cup, used rind and juice of one lime, 2 cloves of garlic. Onion as per recipe.

I made this before and it was a fine idea of seasonings. To make the seasoning a little stronger, I only used 1/4 cup canola oil (I used olive oil just cause I do for fish). While salmon needs to stay moist while cooking I didn't feel it needed so much oil.

Good and easy, but would try marinating for a while first to try and boost the flavor.
