Ingredients

  • 12 slices day-old bread
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup cubed fully cooked ham
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/3 cup diced pimientos
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

  • 1-1/2 cups 2% milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Dash pepper

  2. Bake, covered, until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean, 40-45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
