Healthier-than-Egg Rolls
Frying anything at home is a little intimidating for me, but I love egg rolls. With this recipe, I've figured out a way to get the best part of the eggroll—without the mess. If you prefer a traditional egg rolls made with wrappers, you can use this as the filling! —Sue Mitchell, Leakey, Texas

I love egg rolls but they can be time consuming to make. I thought this was a great alternative. I also used ground pork and it was great.
Great recipe with wonderful flavor. I chose to make it with ground pork due to the reviews sharing the recipe was dry with chicken. I also doubled the recipe and made this in my instant pot to save time, adding water to recipe. I used this recipe for meal prep and froze the extra servings in microwavable single serving freezer containers. I will definitely be making this again.

This is a very easy recipe but we found it very bland. I will make again but use a spicy bottled Asian sauce in addition to the other ingredients. Used an Asian chopped salad mix instead of the coleslaw so wontons were included!
Made this for dinner tonight! Both hubby and I loved it. He told me to add it to our regular rotation! I don't know that I could say we have a regular rotation, because I'm always trying something new, but I know what he meant. We'll be having it again.
I read a review where someone said the ground chicken was a little too dry. An alternative would be to use ground pork. Less dry and more authentic.
We liked this dish. I used ground turkey instead of chicken. I was heavy handed with the garlic and ginger after reading the reviews. I commented that I quite enjoyed the dinner and my husband replied "I almost want it in an eggroll." I'm sure we will have this again, especially since it was so quick to throw together.
Terrific recipe! I made it for supper the day I saw the recipe
Delicious! I followed the recipe exactly. The sesame oil really makes the dish. Also very Weight Watchers friendly.
All I can say is yummy! My husband loves Asian food and this was a huge hit with him.
