I made it with ground turkey, just because it was what I had. My husband had a quadruple by-pass two weeks ago so I was looking for heart healthy recipes. The hospital nutritionist told us that only 1 teaspoon of salt a day is all the a healthy diet should have. So I omitted the salt and it was still good. I wondered if people realize how much salt they should have in a day. I like the healthy recipes I just leave out the salt. Any of you with hypertension or heart issues should consider that as well, (or at least cut the amount in half). Trust me I am not complaining because it made good burgers. Just really need to lower or omit the salt for a healthier meal. Edythe

These were good but I was expecting a distinct flavor from the spices and I didn't really get it. I served the burgers on pitas with the tzatziki sauce, which definitely added that taste of Greece but I'm not sure it would have otherwise had it. Tasty though and a fun change from a regular burger.
