Mocha Java Pie with Kahlua Cream

I'm a big coffee drinker and love the iced and frozen versions, too. This pie was my way of incorporating those flavors into a dessert. —Becky McClaflin, Blanchard, Oklahoma

Amazing!!! My husband and co-workers went on and on about it. I did make my own whipped cream as we prefer it over cool whip. I also made from scratch chocolate pudding. We like a stronger chocolate flavor so I used extra instant coffee in the cream cheese mixture and then needed more sugar as well. I had no Kahlua so just used vanilla. I will be making several for a church event next week and will use the cool whip and boxed pudding to save time. It will still be fabulous.

I finally got around to making this . It is very tastey. The only thing I changed was I didn't use Kaluha it was too expensive for a one time use. I added a little Mocha flavoring to the whipping cream. It's a very light and not real sweet I will definitely make this again

I never have instant coffee in the house. What kind of substitution could I make using regular ground coffee? Has anyone tried it? This recipe sounds SO delicious ~ I'm anxious to try it! (I didn't want to rate without making, but the site won't let me post this question without adding a rating ~ sorry!)

The first time I made this recipe, it was an instant hit. Even those who don't typically like the taste of coffee loved it. I have made it a couple of other times, and it's quickly devoured each time. This is a recipe I will make over and over again.

Easy & delicious! Used 1/3 less fat cream cheese and it worked fine.

I have made 2 of these pies. It is the BEST icebox pie I have ever tasted. The favors of each layer is a surprise to the taste buds. This pie is the WINNER in our home. I will be making another tonight. So easy to put together...20 minutes and in the icebox it goes for a couple of hours before serving.
