Oma’s Marzipan Stollen
My German grandma made this stollen for us when we were young. I love its homey taste and how it reminds me of her and the German food she made. I often freeze this sweet bread once it’s shaped into a braid. Then I can pull it out the night before, let it rise on the counter overnight, and bake it in the morning. —Abigail Leszczynski, Beauford, South Carolina

Not a complicated recipe and tastes like the good German stollen. The marzipan makes it even tastier.
Absolutely perfect recipe. Flavor was right on and the dough was delicious. Truly authentic-As good as my Mom used to make..
Fun to make! I have never baked a stollen before. If I were to make again, I would choose a different filling, it did not have the flavor I was looking for.
