One-Bowl Chocolate Chip Bread
My family hops out of bed on Valentine’s Day because they know I’m baking this quick bread for breakfast. They’re major chocoholics and it always hits the spot. —Angela Lively, Conroe, Texas

I saw this recipe just yesterday & made it today. I needed 2 pans to cook it . Too much sour cream?I guess not sweet enough for me.
Easy to make. I only used 1 cup of chocolate chips. The batter was very dense. After about 55 minutes, I removed from oven. The bread was heavy and not very tasty. Don’t think I’ll be making again
Easy to make. Not very good to eat
this bread is too dense, has too many chocolate chips, and baking time is much too high - so I got a dry mass of cchocolate chips covered in dry dough. very disappointed.
This recipe was THE BEST!! Quick, easy, inexpensive, and best of all DELICIOUS!! I do reccomend using 2 loaf pans not one and cooking for a much shorter time about 35 minutes so it isn't so dense but oh mercy!!!
Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda for a lighter texture.
This is a perfect recipe for a delicious quick bread .It's good as is, or add some nuts A big thank you for this recipe, I will be making this again soon!
Can't tell you how many times I have made this. My hubby's favorite. I'm substituting yellow raisins today in place of the chips.......his idea. Probably will go back to the choc chips for the next loaf!
Definitely needs to be divided into 2 loaf pans. I always make a new recipe first, the way it's written, and then adjust. I will also cut back on the amount of chocolate chips. Has the texture of cornbread. Will try one more time.
I'm well known for the variety of great quick breads I often make and give away. This quick bread recipe was the worst. It turned out (baked) very dense.... does not look like a quick bread, at all. Won't be making it again.
