Peanut Butter Bread

Slices of this yummy peanut butter bread are great spread with grape jelly. Kids will ask for it along with a big glass of milk for an after-school snack. —Linda Muir, Big Lake, Minnesota

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • Grape jelly, optional


  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk egg, milk and peanut butter until smooth; stir into flour mixture just until combined. Pour into a greased 8x4-in. loaf pan.
  • Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 50-60 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. If desired, serve with jelly.
