Peanut Butter Milk Shakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Directions

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process for 30 seconds or until smooth. Stir if necessary. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.

    We make similar ones but skip the sugar and add in bananas :)

    Delicious! I will make this often. I stirred chocolate chips in one at the end - not necessary, but even more decadent!

    Loved this! To lighten it up you could sub frozen yogurt or greek yogurt with a few ice cubes. We liked this so much we included it in a best-of-frozen treats list: http://www.partselect.com/JustForFun/Chilly-Fridge-Freezer-Treats.aspx

    Just tried this and it's quite good. I cut the recipe down by 1/3 since I'm home alone. May add a bit more peanut butter next time.

    We made it today with chocolate chip ice cream, and my daughter suggested adding a half of a large banana. It was a bit runnier than expected, so the chocolate chips went to the bottom, but it was still tasty.
